American West Heritage Wedding - Cache Valley Utah

I was very fortunate to second shoot with Rachel Hudson of Kylee Ann Studios at the American West Heritage Center in Cache Valley, Utah. Such a sweet and beautiful couple who have been together for years. Full of laughs and smiles on their special day. Definitely lucky to witness their step into matrimony.

When I learned that their wedding would be held at the Heritage Center, I was super excited for the Wellsville Mountain backdrop. Toss in these two and magic happens. I can see why a person would want to shoot weddings full time after this day.

Cache Humane Society - Adoptable Dogs Looking For Forever Homes

Here in Cache Valley we have the Cache Humane Society serving the entire area. They are a no kill shelter housing dogs, cats, and small animals until they can find their forever home. I've been able to offer my services in taking pictures for their pups as they wait for their family to find them. Below are some recent shots. Head on over and find your pup.

At the Top: A view of Cache Valley

Ok, it's not exactly the top. Funny thing about mountains, there's always something higher that you can't see. But it was time to turn back and I was getting higher than a lot of the other peaks so I'll count it for now. 5 hours up makes for a tiring climb.

I will say, I love this area. There's something about being up a mountain all alone. Surrounded by deep snow with only the wind to whisper to you.

Mountains to the east of Cache Valley. Stretching till they fall near Bear Lake.

Cache Valley for as far as you can see. Logan, located in the center of this image, contains the majority of it's population.

Clouds rolling over the top of the Wellsville Mountain Range which borders Cache Valley on the West side.
