2 AM morning hike up the dormant volcano Mt. Batur for a view of the sunrise makes for a tiring but great view. Lucky my trusty hiking partner got me going to get up there in time for a little bit of a starry night fading into the coming day.
Camping over the weekend gives some great opportunities to look up to the stars while around the camp fire.
They weren't wrong in saying it was going to be an active night for a meteors. Nice and peaceful up Logan Canyon and around Tony Grove Lake where the majority of these are from. Definitely going to have to be an annual thing.
