Middle of a snow storm deep in the mountains. Wind howling, blowing snow from the trees. Not the warmest place to be but beautifully serene.
Looking west as the sun sets by Mt. Agung. The same mountain viewed from Mt. Batur in the last post. If on the other side.
2 AM morning hike up the dormant volcano Mt. Batur for a view of the sunrise makes for a tiring but great view. Lucky my trusty hiking partner got me going to get up there in time for a little bit of a starry night fading into the coming day.
